HOD, Message
Welcome the department of Civil Engineering at Government Polytechnic Osmanabad. This department was started in the year 1985 along with the inception of the Polytechnic. Since then this department has progressed in leaps and bounds.
The department was started with intake of 60 Students. The department is committed to provide quality technical Civil Engineering skills relevant to industry. We are proud to have state of the art laboratories and dedicated academic and technical staff to support our academic program.
The student here are encouraged to engage in extra curricular and co-curricular activities which are essential for personality development nurturing of team spirit hallenges. Our faculty committed to provide students with strong, broad based fundamental engineering education. Civil Engineering is the oldest branch of engineering which deals with human needs such as water, shelter, earth etc. It has wide range of opportunities in various fields such as production, service, construction industry, software, chemical, teaching, research and transport.
